LYDNEY 2 GLOUCESTER CITY A 7

City proved too strong for their Gloucestershire rivals in an entertaining encounter at Whitecross Leisure Centre.

Andrew Tyrrell opened the goal count early on following fine work from Alex Tranter and Scott Eliis, which was swiftly followed by a Mark Charania trademark penalty corner ten minutes later.

Second half goals from Mark Batemen (pictured), Tyrrell and a further brace from the stick of Charania sealed the win for the visitors. Lydney scored a well worked second goal against the the run of play but to no avail.
