About Gloucester City Hockey Club
GCHC: Strong on and off the pitch
Gloucester City Hockey Club prides itself on
being one of the largest and most successful hockey clubs in South
West England.
With past National League experience, the club has nurtured many
successful international players, including Mark Pearn, Robert Todd
and more recently Matthew Fairburn.
The club boasts six Men's and four Ladies' sides in addition to
various badgers, veterans, mixed and indoor teams. The club also
runs a thriving boy's and girl's junior section with well over one
hundred members.
The Men's 1st XI play in the West Premier One and the Men's 2nd XI compete in West Premier Three. Our Men's 3rd XI, Men's 4th XI and Men's 5th
XI all play league hockey in respective West divisions.
The Ladies' 1st XI are equally successful and compete in the West
Premier Division. The Ladies' 2nd XI, Ladies' 3rd XI and Ladies' 4th XI all play league hockey in the regional West league.
Matches are played at Plock Court, St. Peters RC High School and at the University of Gloucestershire's
Oxtalls Campus. The clubhouse is located at the Riverside Sport
